Job Overview:
Join our team as a Camp Counselor and make a positive impact on the lives of children in a fun and engaging environment. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a passion for working with children to create memorable experiences at our summer camp.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage campers in various activities such as sports, arts and crafts, games, and outdoor adventures
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that promote learning and social development
- Provide guidance and support to campers in a positive and nurturing manner
- Collaborate with other counselors to create a welcoming and inclusive camp environment
- Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and staff members

• Design and facilitate interactive STEM lessons and activities aligned with our camp curriculum.
• Engage campers in hands-on experiments, projects, and challenges to enhance their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment where campers feel encouraged to explore and express their creativity.
• Supervise campers during outdoor activities, and lunch breaks to ensure their safety and well-being.

Collaborate with fellow teachers and camp staff to coordinate camp logistics and support overall camp operations.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sports coaching, theater, childcare, daycare, tutoring, or related fields is preferred
- Certification in first aid is a plus
- Knowledge of childhood development and early childhood education principles
- Experience working with students or children in educational or recreational settings
- Ability to demonstrate Christian counseling principles (if applicable)
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
